This is my mint never removed from box NW class J 611 in commerative box. This was a gift from my parents in 1984---the year the locomotive was enshrined as a National Mechanical Engineering Landmark. The Ceremonies for this was held on May 19,1984. One engineer opened the throttle up on a straight stretch reaching 110 MPH with this loco. These retailed for $100.00 new in 1984. Mine still has the original sticker on end flap of $79.95

| That's pretty cool...I had a girlfriend in HS that lived on Powhatan Ave and I learned to play baseball on the field right beside the passenger train station...[:D]
