Hi guys
I'm working on a friends Harry Potter Bachmann steamer and its dead in the water
NOTHING...wont move wont run ...ZIP......
Any tips???

I don't have any experience with that loco but when you say nothing do you also mean no lights? If so it could be as simple as a broken wire.

I know a guy who has one of those HP loco's.
The frame is warped.
Check the alignment.

Hi
When I first tried it it ran about 3 ft and a dead short occured....when I tore it down the first time, I noticed LOTS of pet hair...could one of these possibly short the motor....I also heard that Bachmann doesn't handle these anymore...have to go through Lionel(?)...is that true?....warped frame huh?....If thats the case he's probably better off buying a new engine....
