Hello to all.....I recently aquired this train set, it is in great condition and came with a lot of track a very old looking transformer and a few other items. The train came in it's original box and when hooked up it runs well. I didn't get any documentation with it and I am trying to find out more about it.......year of production, possible parts availability, etc. If any one can tell me more about it I would greatly appreciate it. I would like to do whatever maintenance might be needed before running it any more. Any information about this set would be appreciated....Thanks in advance for a reply...........Jerry

This is what I have found on the TYCO set I was aking about...............
http://tycotrain.tripod.com/tycotrainsredboxeracollectorsresource/id14.html

The Pacemaker
(No.T611 and T612)
Twin F-9A units, one powered and one non-powered, lead a Gondola; Chemcial Tank Car; Stock Car; Box Car; and Reefer, plus a Streamline Cupola Caboose. With Rio Grande power and matching Caboose this was TYCO's T612 Pacemaker Set; C&O equipment made it set T611. Both retailed for $24.95 in 1960.
