Hey Guys,

Sorry still haven't firgured out the picture thing yet, but I think I can describe it pretty well. I recently got an old engine chasis in a lot, it has 4 single wheels for trucks and yellow couplers, looks pretty old. Does anyone know who made this?

Thanks,
Jeremy

Hi Jeremy,
Can you discribe what the motor looks like?
Are all the wheels geared?

The wheels are not geared they like to be band driven, but the bands are not there. The motor says Wilsons of Clevland. The motor has 2 shafts I'm assuming it was had both front and rear pull

Hi Jeremy. Any Varney F3 Shell will fit. You can also use a Penn Line shell as it is almost identical. Athearn shell will fit with a little work. Your engine also needs the shaft from the motor to shaft support. You should be able to use an Athearn Hi Fi drive shaft. It should work well.
Nice to see pictures of my Varney "Lil Raskal" set still making the rounds [:D]

Hey VintageHO:

Thought I would solve the problem without having to dig out my own complete set and take redundant phot's.
