I am new to this forum and have just gotten back into Tyco HO trains. I managed to win this locomotive on EBay last night.

ebay item # 270180931028

A basic Chessie Alco 630, but from the pictures shown, it looks to be in really nice shape...brand new...if used at all. A friend of mine way back when had this engine, it was big and showy....made my F9's look like junk. 30 years later...I'm finally taking my own delivery!

My "new" Chessie System Alco 630 has arrived! After a disassembling, some new oil, a good cleaning, and a new set of EZ Mate couplers, this engine looks and runs great. The shell is flawless, the traction tires have no wear...this loco looks like it was ran maybe once and was then parked for 32 years. Nice Ebay find for my layout.

Shakedown run after cleaning with a trio of 62 foot boxcars. The headlight is nice and bright, even at a low power setting. I have the train down to a slow crawl to get a blur- free picture. I may have to get a couple of Riverossi C & O passenger cars and make up a C&O Heritage Society train to go with this loco.
