Hello All, I've been looking at an old Tyco all-metal 0-6-0, probably from the late 50's-early 60's. It appears to have separate metal handrails. My question--could those be original? I have some "little six" 0-6-0's, and the handrails are cast into the metal. Don't know if the early versions actually had handrails. Thanks, Chris

Thanks, Ken--I did receive a reply from the owner (I may buy it--always wanted one that's labeled "T.Y.C.O."). He says on this particular version, the rails are cast on. They just looked separate because they are painted white. This is the 0-6-0 tank engine (no tender). I already have the T.Y.C.O bobber caboose, but it has the really early Mantua couplers--I'd like to find a version that has horn hooks. Chris
