Hey Guys:
Well Since last week was the "Baby" Trainmaster from Fairbanks Morse, I though this week I would show a full size TM from the PA's neighbour, the great State of NJ.!

Grimy like the real thing. I have two extra shells for this; one will be painted TM Demo:

And the other for PRR. This saves a bit of cash by allowing shell swaps to change things around a bit!
What make a TM unique you might ask, well: The engine is an opposed piston design used by the US NAvy's Submarines during WW2! For their day incredibly versatile...

OK, guys, let fly what have you got? I know Cheez fgot a extra cool deal this last week!.... over to DaCheez....

I guess this would be the infant Trainmaster. This is an Athearn Trainmaster shell chopped up and installed on an Athearn Hustler chassis. The walkways and pilots are scratch-built. I also built a gear drive for it.

I finally got something new to post here. I picked this up last Thursday for $15. Its a Tyco Industrial Switcher in General Electric paint. It runs great at low speeds...very smooth.

(sorry the pics are a little blurry...the engine is pretty small)

Hey Guys:
Ray ever see railings for a CC Mantua? These are what I and a lot of people refer to as "Critters" I have a project similar to your "ITM" in the works. A few actually, just gotta get some better tools...

My TM is an Athearn that I swapped out the second generation motor for a later one. Being N&W, it's run long nose forward.

I came across 2 sets years ago (I used them) and haven't seen any since. I could use a couple more sets myself, normally I would just make up a set, but I have a few I want to be all original. Nice critters by the way.

Here's my contribution. Tyco Mantua Mike that I recently built. Still need to letter and detail it. Hopefully add a Helix Humper too.

 And a Bachman B-23-7 I got off of E-scam.
This was advertised as an Athearn, but magically turned into a Bach some where in the postal system. (Gotta love E-Bay![V]) I kept it so I can MU it with one I already have.
