Here is a car carrier that I made a while ago in the shape of the car ferry Las Plumas. The prototype used to shuttle cars for the Western Pacific between Oakland and San Francisco.
It's made of plywood and I still need to make the bridge cabin. There are no rails. I use it simply to store cars. It can hold up to 12 of them.
