Here's my LOTW offering:

SO STOKED about this Ebay find -- the scarce TYCO Gulf Mobile & Ohio 2-8-0 "Consolidation" steam locomotive!! I paid a decent price for it, but it was worth it.

I have yet to test it on RETRO TYCO, and definitely plan to film it very soon, so stay tuned!

Just picked up this ABBA set of Athearn PA's brand new in the box. Three are powered. Just waiting on motor mounts.

For my very first LOTW ever, I'll post my gleaming TYCO golden eagle that I just picked up off ebay. It's completely intact minus traction tires, which I intend to replace if the motor proves operational upon testing. This is now one of my roster favorites. I just love this TYCO's lustrous gold paint.

It’s a beaut! Some of us use Goody Hairbands, available
at Walmart, cost a buck or two, for replacement tires.

I'm just about to leave to go to Walmart, so I'll have to take a look for them. I don't have either of my Tyco-paks with me at college, so I haven't tested it yet.

One of the reasons I was eager to find the golden eagle is my second LOTW. Here's my favorite TYCO locomotive- the Silver Streak. I found this old unit at an antique shop missing wheelset covers for $5. Luckily I picked up a poor R.I. C430 that had them literally two days later. Currently it has no motor, but I intend to replace it because I have all the cars for the set, along with the piggyback loader.

Whoo, I like that: Gold and Silver. If I find an extra PT motor, that
works, I will let you know. Gratis.

Thanks Chops! I managed to find some Goody hair bands. I swear they're perfect-fit Tyco traction tires! I also managed to jerry-rig up a "Tyco-Pak", and the Golden Eagle runs like clockwork. I also was able to get my Chattanooga 2-8-0 (a future LOTW) running way more smoothly...
