Do you guys primer your shells before the body color(s)? What are you using to mask?

Unless I have a shell that is one solid color, I use a light coat of primer to seal the shell.
I use 3M masking tape for masking.

| Yes...I also use primer. I find that the final paint job does not run if I do so. I use Testors #1237.....seems to do the trick nicely. As for masking tape, I also use 3M....usually I put two strips of tape on top of each other for masking.
