Fnally some progress on the layout. My friend and I have the switches laid down and wired up for the yard .

Ah hah! You did post some layout pics, and I thank you, sir!
I love those twin bridges. Bridges add so much dynamism
to a scene. Truth be told, ever since Man threw a log down
over a stream, they intrigue me to no end. Highway over
passes...well, gotta take a pass on that one...I wish everything
ran on steel rail.

The excursion line is ballasted, just need to touch up and clean it up a bit. This isn't the kitty litter, I didn't have time to start laying it This is Woodland scenics gray coarse ballast. Ballasting is very time consuming and tedious work. Some of you are probably wondering why this is taking me so long to get anything done on this layout. I have about 4 to 5 hours a week to work on the layout. Some weeks I don't get to work on it at all because of my job

It's been quite a long time since I posted any progress on our layout. We have had many setbacks due to circumstances beyond our control. The biggest being we had to dismantle most of our tables. We were at a standstill for a few months. We finally are able to reassemble the tables. Here are some pics of our progress on the layout.

I'll post more pics later
