A grouping of most interesting CP rail cars, searched for and obtained by, the Shark Master, aka RP Model Railroads. Being in remote El Paso, there is not much opportunity to roam model train shows, and the Shark Master was kind enough to put together this remarkable range of pieces, back East, in Pennsylvania!

My SOTW is a pair of Gilbert AF Frontiersman FY&P passenger cars... Just picked up in a lot of other passenger cars. Apparently someone else noticed them as well as I paid a good penny for them, but at least now i have cars to pair up with one of my two remaining Franklin # 88 locomotives...

Sean, Great batch of trains. That is one hard to get set. I have seen this set at Allentown Pa, and Edison NJ. The dealer that has it runs the New Hope PA train show. It was too high priced for me. One of the passenger cars is missing a piece of its roof. It is a little over 200 dollars. Maybe someday.

Nice grab on those FY&P coaches Sean. I need a set of them to make a third set.
Frank, that set he's been carrying with him isn't a bad deal. The cars will clean up a bit and I've successfully repaired those roofs as its a common problem with them. I've almost bought it a couple of times now but end up finding something else i can't live without... You know how Allentown goes haha!

For some reason or another, there's been a lot of them showing up on eBay. Sometimes they're reasonable, other times not so much.
I technically have 3 sets plus I have my dad's two sets plus a reproduction set that also has a never made by Gilbert #30 combine

Gets my set of the week... Reproduction of the 1959 Gilbert HO Frontiersman set made in 2001. There was only 6 sets made, this is set number 1 and includes the add-on combine car in its box.
