The set was offered in 1980-81 and only ever had a generic caboose

The art on the side of the box shows a completely different box car than the one in the set.

 Amazing set in unbelievable pristine condition. Most interested to learn that Tyco never made a Conrail caboose. I have two, one center cupola, one rear cupola, both by Life Like, I believe.
Oh, uh, my collection of rail box cars, I think perhaps one is actually a Tyco? Photo at Doc Harrison Memorial Yard at El Paso Model Train Club.

My SOTW is this American Flyer HO-148 set from 1950. This was Gilbert's first 0-6-0 in HO and was their first HO engine to have smoke and choo choo in the boiler. Gear running little engine and one of my favorite early postwar sets.

| LMAO trust me I've been looking but there isn't a Tyco Conrail caboose. There's an IHC Conrail caboose would you could pass off as a Tyco if you change the trucks LOL
