| Pretty fine ShockControl. Is that a Frank Lloyd Wright house?

That house reminds me of North by Northwest, but it's not an exact replica. https://hookedonhouses.net/2010/03/15/north-by-northwest-hitchcocks-house-on-mt-rushmore/

My thoughts exactly, Barry. A most uniquely themed layout. Nicely done, SC.

More pix coming.
The modern house is by Kibri or Faller, I think the latter. It is called "Lake Chalet" or something similar.

Whoa! Awesome layout!! I love the snow detailing, and that house is stellar!!!! My favorite pieces of rolling stock/locomotives operating on your layout include that Pennsy wreck crane & maintenance car, and, are those Tyco B&O F9's, A&B?!?!?

Thank you! The B&Os are Athearn F7s, as are the passenger cars.
I also ran a freight train with a combination of Athearns and Tyco/Mantua cars from the metal base/metal truck era. I will post some pix of those soon.

I bought it that way at a train show. A friend suggested that it may be a modified KFC, but I don't know. In its current state, it is a lunch counter/ice cream shop.

Nice use of the inverted cork roadbed for road. Never seen that before- it works nicely.

Mid-Century Modern all the way, baby! Love watching the train with an Old Fashioned in hand and Henry Mancini on the hi-fi!

What part of the country do you live? I bet it is fun to turn out the lights and watch the snow at night outside the window (if you get snow) Just took my Christmas layout down. :(
