With Whose F3 shell? Athearn only made the F7 didn't they?
That said, wheelbase of F3 and F7 are identical.

HO, Athearn BB. I always associated F7 with Athearn, myself. I had a chance to buy an old BB but the guy said it was F3. Chassis definitely looks like every Athearn I ever saw. I have a nice NH shell that needs a chassis, so there it be.

If you don't want the Belle's and Whistles(DCC) Try to find an undecorated F unit

FT's had a shorter wheelbase, F2 through F9 were the same. FP7's were longer.
