When you look at the sharp precision and clean proportion of those tank cars, they really smack of quality. You can tell that they're neatly assembled metal and not old injection molded plastic. Not knocking plastic cars. Most of mine are plastic, but these grab the eye.
It was nice to see the Mighty Mite roll by, too.

Thank you gentlemen. I enjoy working on old Mantua (metal) equipment because most everything that you put together can be disassembled and redone without destroying something. And their simple designs seem to draw out the imagination.
