I have 2 SW1s with broken or missing railings. also each engine has the front body clip missing. Please what is the standard way or best way to repair them? Any thoughts? Thank you.

Hi David:

You're already on the right road. (Cool, a Pun for fun!)
Someone here may well have the peice you need. Happened to me just recently. Needed a truck retaining clip for an AHM GP-18 and I think it was Ray or Brian sent me the piece! Anyway, this link will help with repairs!

What roadname(s) are your SW-1 shells? I have an SW-1 dummy with a perfect body and it doesn't really fit what I collect.

The one I have is a Southern Pacific. It is a dummy but it looks like new, you can swap the shell onto one of your powered units. If it's something you like then I'll ship it to you. I collect Tyco and Mantua mainly, if you want to swap a freight car for it that would be fine with me as long as it is in good condition also.

PM me if you'd like to get it. [^]
