Just finished doing some mold making and the results turned out good. Made some molds of Sampson streamlied car ends and some bolsters.
Car ends:

Bolsters:

I left the holes filled in so that I can decide which type of screw I want to use to mount the trucks.
All-in-all, I think that the molds turned out pretty good. Now I don't have to spend outrageous amounts for these parts.

Are these the same kind used by normal freight cars? I have 3 cars that need (among other things) body bolsters. Of course, the moment you sell one of these whoever inherited Samspon down the line (Probably Walthers or Bowser) will come-a-knockin. I wonder if there will be a market for Silver Streak/Main Line/Sugar Pine/AC Models parts now that Ye Olde Huff n Puff seems to be MIA.
sim-al2 Also since they cut track maintaince the trains had huge trouble making over the railroad by the end 純那 yeah They did a Rock Island volountarily

Those came out great! I'm in the same boat as you with some OK streamliners. I may have to look in to doing this...

Poke, these are bolsters that I got on eBay that were identical to the ones in the Huf n Puf kit. You should be able to use them on just about any freight car.
