Picking an oldie but a goodie, needs a hollow round tube driveshaft to get'er going again, this old Varney ACL diesel is another shop find. Been trying to find some nice purple ACL shells to build a passenger train puller, this one will work nicely.

That purple is smashing. Hope you can get her up and going again.
Some might complain this doesn't qualify as a locomotive, well,
it runs on its own power doesn't it?

This weeks loco from me is a Fleischmann 0-6-0 switcher. This one was made for entry level train sets. Like with Fleischmann in general they hold up, and keep running. This has marks of being dropped and played with hard. I painted it as a Army Transportation department war trophy. It is painted in war camouflage light gray. Meant to blend in with snow. I call it the Ghost locomotive.
