If patience is a virtue, then that train was made by one virtuous hobbyist. There's lots of time and craftsmanship invested in that train.

On one hand, that's beautiful and must've taken an incredible amount of time and patience, on the other hand... why make an HO train out of hand-cut and carved hardwood? That has to be the most onerous possible way of building something like this.
Never seen a wood steam loco before though so I'll give him that
