A lovely old Tyco caboose- from the Busss in a trade. Everytime I run
some PC I put this smooth rider on the rear. It's been run so much
that the nylon wheel treads have a patina of nickel-silver on them.
The last PC box is also from a trade with the Busss. A much cherished piece-
Thanks Micro!

Here is a old all metal Mantua reefer. A 1950 version. Needs a little touch up.
Swift's Premium Ham.

Love those early Mantua reefers. What are those couplers called? I see them on blue box Tycos too.

My COTW... A New Haven Milk reefer... I think it is S scale, or maybe 00 scale as it is bigger than the two reefers above it.. Haven't measured the wheel width yet, but it is wider...

Beautiful pieces. I cringe at the idea of touching it up, though.
Wouldn't that be like polishing an antique coin? Great stuff,
very unique.

Nice Express reefers there Sean. I think that would be OO or early HO

My COTW is my 96% done ( just needs decals and fine-tuning) tri-level autorack
