Your best bet is eBay. I've seen quite a few of these early edition cars come up in Spirit of 76 lots. I'll probably to start to collect those once my Alco 430 collection is complete. Anyways just type in "Tyco Train Lot" or something like that. You'll be surprised at what you can find.

Well I don't know if you're still looking for this one but the whole set <being sold individually> is for sale on eBay right now.

Here is a link to the auction with the blue one you are looking for.

If you find them for reasonable prices you'd stand to make a good profit. They're pretty desirable and people will pay pretty pennies for them if they're in good shape.

I'm not looking to resale, I am colleting the Tyco Spirit of 76 series. I have the all white George Washington crossing and the all red minute men. I need the blue Paul Revere to have all 3 of the first edition.

Oh I knew that. I should have just quoted Micro. I was saying that if he found any of those early cars for cheap he should buy them. My bad.

Anyways there's your blue car on eBay! I see them pop up once a month. That car is probably going to go for a good bit. Don't know what your budget is but that guy's auctions go for a little more than others (good photography I guess? lol.)

The car is already at $30 including shipping with 5 days to go. It will probably go for more than I want to spend. Just about a month ago I got the Washington crossing for $13 on eBay from a guy in Connecticut. He says he has a 1200 sq ft building full of trains and if he comes across the blue Paul Revere he will let me know. I have close to 100 engines, cars and cabooses of the Tyco Spirit of 76 and Spirit of America. I didn't know there were so many variations until I joined this forum. I have to find time to sort out what variations I have and don't have. I know I didn't have the first editions of the S of 76. When it comes to Tyco S of 76 I am like a addict. lol
