Well great trains here this week. Right now I am running small Marx and Lionel diesels. Even a few 0-4-0 and 0-6-0 steamers. * it all started with this here a Tyco 0-4-0t is seem tearing around a turn pulling 2 cars and a old combine. frank

Keeping up with the vintage steam theme my LOTW is this sealed Spirit of 76 4-6-0. I wish I had to cardboard box to it though.

Posting something unusual this week. It's a Rivarossi C-liner. But that's not really what's unusual about it.
Scroll down to see why... . . . . . . . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . . . .
The ACL engine is actually HO scale. The Rivarossi is a 2-rail O GAUGE engine. It's a dummy, but I'd never seen a RR O gauge before, I found it at remote Flea my wife used to sell at, guy has a bunch of estate trains from his late uncle he's selling, I got this one for $15. He had another A unit, but I had other things I wanted, too. ;) Actually both of these engines are dummies, I intend to switch the ACL shell to a working chassis, most of my ACL's are faded, this one is a nice bright purple. Only $2 for it.
Jerry
Edit note - I took it to the shop today, and showed another co-worker, and it was then I noticed that the rear truck DID have a small DC motor in it...so this is actually a live engine, not a dummy. So I got a really good deal...

2 rail Rivarossi O, that is a mystery to me. I must say, magenta ACL is quite the standout. Smashing Genesis Ray. I'd never heard about the A & C. Great vintage pieces, the '76 brings back memories of 1976: Jimmy Carter, post Watergate....Tyco ruled the rails...The Hiawatha piece is striking with its bold, clear lines.

The Arizona and California RE is a shortline that operates between the Arizona and California railroad. It goes through Parker. Arizona which is where I usually head out to during the summer months. Believe it is owned by the Gynese & Wyoming.
