I'll bet this will rankle the rivet counters! My pick for this week's COTW is a Matchbox / Lesney dumper gondola. I've been eyeing these Matchbox trains for awhile, to see if I can make them HO scale compatible and actually run them. I am planning to power the Matchbox diesel engine Plymouth, or whatever it is, once I find a suitable micro motor truck to fit under it. That project is gathering dust as well at the moment . Anyway, still on my train Bucket list.

I like that project idea. Rivet counters howl at me all the time, particularly when I bring on the Tyco. This is my more proto-real attempt in OO, where I spend a little time trying tool up something more operational than going in circlz. A "wagon," as they are called in the UK.

Great pic. The grain makes it look like a humid night. Is that yellow Peterbuilt supposed to be somewhat rare?
Your night lights has inspired me to light up the Tyco Expander, down the line.
Are you using bulbs or LED's? Noticed also is that your seams are well joined. No annoying light spillage in evidence.

Thank You, Chops... The yellow truck cab is a bit hardtop get but they show up here & there...
The lights would be cool on your layout. No LEDs here. My freeway lights are wired in series of pairs. Most of the building lights the same. I use black electrical tape to hide joints or bleed thru walls. There's nothing worse than light showing thru a wall or seams of a building... That annoyed me when I was 12 !! Can't stand it now either...
