Nice work. I appreciate the prototype research. I would have like to include that type of info on the 62' version post, but proto research can be difficult and often expensive, even with the internet (those blasted color guides ain;t cheap!)

I don;t have any Athearns here to compare, but my eyes note that Tyco's version drops the tackboards to the left of the door. With that omission, Kader's car actually seems closer to Athearn, to me anyway.

Just remembered some additional info for your EXTRA page:

Lionel-HO also offered their 40HC in Illinois Central Gulf (I have one), and Burlington Northern.... they are both pictured in the 1977 catalog.
