Hey Guys,
A friend of mine was going through his train stuff and found a Tyco Amtrak GG-1. He knew I collect and run Tyco stuff and asked if i wanted it. Well we know the answer to that question. So I got it home and put it on the track, and it doesn't move the motor works but the armature gear was just spinning on the shaft. After fixing the gear with JB Kwik it run just fine. Not bad for a freebie,it's in like new condition with the original box. Now I need a set of phase 2 Amtrak cars to match.[;)]

Good Luck on the Phase 2 Amtrak Streamliners...ask DeCheez about locating them. I hadn't thought they were any harder to obtain than the original light blue band Amtrak cars...but they are a bit more rare apparently or at least from recent eBay sightings.
