Worked on my trestles this weekend, got four done at 8 inches tall or in HO scale, 58 feet, did one at 12 inches or 87 feet and will do one more of that size then four at 4 inches tall or 29 feet. I am going to build a second 4 x 4 table and keep the two separate by 12 inches for a drop down valley for the trestle to pass over. The four at 8 inches will be on the table and four at 4 inches will be part of a buildup for a mountain scene and tunnel. I used a few clips from my orchids as clamps, they work great.

This is going to look nice!

By the way, walnut colored furniture stain looks like creosote in HO. Don't know if that's the finish you want, but I figured I'd throw that out in case it's useful.

Love your lighting work, Walt, even if it does drain the national
power grid . I can hear the rain forest withering from here.
Since I have neither time, nor ability, I snapped
off this photo from the El Paso Model Train Club.
Someone else made this, probably Fred Sunderman.
Remember phone booths? Always have to check the
receiver that some schmuck didn't booby trap it with a
wad of chewed gum? Who knew about the digital
revolution. Strange times, indeed.
