John Bull set I picked off ebay for $40 and free shipping. Other than it being
early steam, I know very little about the history. Posts/links appreciated.

Wow, this is great stuff. The precarious perch of that
fireman... I had no idea this was a Stephenson

Taken all together, that's a sharp looking train. I like the matching cars and locomotive.

On the locomotive, I know those sand pipes and boiler bands dragged you through a lot of extra fussing around, but they do make that boiler look more real, perhaps in a subtle way more felt than noticed.
