Here is my Tyco-mantua Canadian Pacific set that was made with longer Gilbert cars. In the early 1960 for at least 3 years these cars were shown in the Tyco catalogs. frank

Been over a year since I've had these cars out; since when I was trying to get all Kadee couplers. Changed out one coupler to be able to pull this consist around. I'd like to get them all back to the original hook and loop couplers. It will probably be a spell before that project since a few of the cars came to me with the center of the step/coupler cover assembly cut out and the coupler mounting pin cut off to facilitate fastening a Kadee coupler box in place.

** I like those Mantua " Jackson and Sharp " passenger car set. The new Mogul looks real good. I've finally got 4 or 5 of these cars. I only need some time to work on them and get them on the road. frank toptrain

You are speedy Ken! The following link is to some Deleware Archives where there are 200 pages of stuff related to railroad cars and Jackson and Sharp . . .
I road on that coach, or its sister coach, behind a Porter 0-4-0. Alna, Maine, I think it t'was. Beautiful ride. Got my white shirt sprayed with cinders. I asked if I had to pay extra for the privilege.
