I've been trying to find a plastics producer who will extrude or injection mold a particular size of rectangular tubing for my needs, but have had no luck so far, either in the USA or from China. Will keep looking, though.
Recently I was wandering through a local mall, and ran across these cracker storage containers, they will work well for transport and protection containers, but a bit big for my static storage at home I want. I found this AF HO piece at my train shop job in an estate lot for sale, and am going to buy it. The tube is the right size, wish I could get that AF mold! Oh well. Thought you guys might like to see this cracker container, in case you want something similar for transporting engines. Made by Kitchen Collections, you can find them on a Google search easily.
