Normally it's the time of year where things slow down some. These are the months that I have more time to devote to adding to my layout. Last week I had a car lot owner respond to my Craigslist ad wanting me to repair and paint damaged areas on his used cars before selling them. We met, and he seems very honest and likable. I'm working on the first project for him and there's about 10 more waiting. He says he sells normally around 18 cars a month and buys as many more. This is a constant line of work to finish one and bring another car to my shop... No train time now, but plenty of train hobby money!

Good for you Walt! By the way, my friend Henry is selling a bunch of stuff he picked up at an estate sale for vastly less than market value. I had trouble posting all the pics, but take a peek in Trading Post. I cherry picked some Tyco. Hah, hah! Mine all mine!!! But, I regret to tell you, he has no lamp posts.

Thank You, Jeff. I'll check Henry's stuff out! As for the light poles, two packs from Ebay arrived in today's mail.

To add to the craziness of the car lot cars. I just confirmed getting the job of restoring the paint on a 1930 Model A Ford. This has been stored when not in use at least since 1952 when purchased by the present owners Father... This thing is rock solid and still has decent paint on it!
