It doesn't say made in japan. It has a international IMP coupler on it. frank

I finally bought ME for $30!
I was at Railfest in North Platte Sat. & will post finds later they had the lighthouse for $25 but already spent $50 on stuffs will get that or Bill next time

Retread, sorry. But seeing seeing the Flying Scotsman gave me a much needed shot in the arm, or a kick in the kiester, whichever. This bit from a Hornby set, I am told, called the "Rural Rambler" and dates to the 1970's, manufactured in enormous quantities. It ran pretty good after a little clean and lube. Note the super wide drivers and deep dish flanges. This OO puppy won't tolerate Atlas 100 crossings and switches, and so the entire layout is built up from Hornby OO track- that costs a bleeping fortune. I know, it's only double O, but I like it, like it, yes I do.
