Hustlin' this guy online before I head to the train shop job, got this little feller from Ebay a few weeks ago. Usually these Euro hustlers go high, I didn't have to overpay to get one finally! I haven't tried it out yet, though.

my loco 1949/1952 mantua mikado yes its a repaint but its rare ken

These are some nice LOTW's this week, guys.My LOTW is an Athearn 60th anniversary GP unit, that's DCC ready and I got it at a show new in the box for $30.

Awesome! The GP-40X has always been one of my all time favorites. I have been lucky enough to catch some in action in the field on the UP. It looks especially nice in the Athearn color scheme.quote:

Thats actually one reason why I like it; the color scheme. I also quite like the detail put onto this lovely model. Really helps make it shine.

Latter kits of the all metal Mike came with the pacific trailing truck. I guess a cost saver. The use of a same part on two different locos. You have a older model of the oldest Mikado mantua made. frank

A Bachmann F unit toils up the grade hauling a load of gooey Sara Lee pastry, which nobody doesn't like, up the grade at the El Paso Model Train Club, a few weeks ago.

nearly finished the 49 version of mikado so now have 2 of these beasties
bell to fit,handrails to make,wheels to clean,touch up the plough
