Looking good, glad to see it moving forward. Nice parking spaces, I can never get lines to look that good. One thing, though, WHERE ARE THE &*%&%%!! DUMPSTERS???? Heh, heh.

Thanks Jeff... I've been getting things done but not concentrating on one section. The dumpsters? I'm gonna have to buy a bunch of 'em! The package only had 3 and the 7-UP plant will use 2 or 3 !! Gonna need many!

Looking good Walt. I tried working slot cars into the layout but gave up on it. My BOTW is the City Classics Gas Station.

| Pretty cool Gary. And that Camaro looks like it's ready to leave a little rubber on the way out. I worked at a Standard Station in high school and our "Final Filtered Super Premium" was something like $.90 a gallon. And while taking a high school photography glass, I got a shot of a co-worker, and co-student, leaving a little rubber at our Standard Station with his '66 Chevelle Super Sport 396. Your Gulf station definitely tells a story . . . just get a couple people in there washin' the windshield or bringin' back coffee and donuts.

Very sharp. Reminds me when we thought $1 gallon was terribly expensive.

That must have been a common layout for Gulf stations, with two service bays on the left, and the office on the right with the restrooms behind it, because that's exactly the design of the station my father went to when I was a kid. In fact, he patronized that business 'til the day he died, and my mom still does. However, it's no longer Gulf, having transitioned to BP, Phillips 66, and now Pure. Through all that it still remained in the same family, though. Thanks for the memories!

Thanks guys the station is a City Classics kit and Micro-scale makes decals for several station brands. I believe it comes as a 'Pure' Station. Nice kit with two options for pump types. I've got a set of ESSO decals that will end up on a Plasticville station. That station design was pretty generic at one time.

A building that is always there on my layout but not spoken off. The Heljan roundhouse. Presently I use a 8 stall and a 3 stall roundhouses. They provide the inside locomotive repair area that is needed for either my steam or diesel roster. frank

They don't show up very often. I have plans for them, but they can be a problem to build from scratch.
