Well there's a term Model Railroaders never use. Nothing's ever completed. Well I'm declaring my main drag of Neenah Wi. on my Fox River Valley RR to be completed. Never finished, but completed. There can and will be new details and updates but I feel nothing screams out that this needs more work. After about 12 years, I'm happy with it.

Where did the Pepsi truck come from?
Why is there a theater at track level?

Because people always like to see movies after they get on the train or are waiting for one.

"A lot of modellers out there who go to these train shows see broken HO stuff and go, 'This is useless' when, in reality, they can still be used for modeling whether it's as a prop on your layout or a cool project to make something old new again."

Wow! That's urban modeling on a truly ambitious level.

Of course, one can't help but be intrigued about how one keeps a liquid like coffee hollow and how one keeps hollow coffee happy.

That is definitely an inspiration for me. Love the depth/layering. Lots of stuff there but not too much, which is - in my opinion - difficult to pull off. If I can say this without being negative, it's possible to nitpick some details here and there but viewed as a whole it all works perfectly. Make sense?

Thanks everyone, I'm glad you enjoyed.
Pepsi truck came from a garage sale. I thought it looked right.
Why the theater at track level? The building fit the spot. It's Smalltown's 'Pam's Pet Shop'. I built the marque and ticket office from scratch. Note the vertical sign is a plastic knife handle. The story I'm going with is when the city raised the road level they saved the theater that was already there.
Hollow coffee? It took me a minute to figure out what the heck you where talking about.

Jerry yes, and thanks. No one can nit pick it more than I will. It's why I declared it done, to focus on other parts of the layout. Completed yes, perfect no. My goal has never been to be completely realist. (Reality is a crutch) My goal is to HAVE FUN. I have two other sections I consider completed at this point and maybe four more to go. After that???

Beautiful scene, Gary. I'm really impressed. In fact if there are any apartments available in that first building, I just might move in!

Very nice! I really like that second shot looking up the street with all the building signs and the row of streetlights and the traffic. Nice shot!

Thanks again everybody. There was a lot of fun work put into that.
Glenn - That second shot is the one shot that is still waiting for another major piece. The mirror reflecting the street into the wall will be topped off by elevated track and should complete the effect even better.

Now that you mention it, the mirror is obvious, but I didn't even notice it the first time, just the awesome street going into the distance!
