Have:
- one PS-1 Demonstrator boxcar from Kurtz-Kraft, oxide red, minus doors and door tracks, with Varney trucks and Mantua couplers
- one oxide red Youngstown door
- one extra oxide red car bottom (floor/frame)

Need:
- one more door to complete the thing.

If anyone has a matching oxide red Kurtz-Kraft Youngstown door (the kind with the big angled ridges), happy to trade them the car bottom or any other part I've got that they need. When finished rebuilding the car, will definitely post pics.

I only have 2 K-K cars as they don't show up around here much. Curiously, the other one is without doors either, but it's getting kitbashed into a storage tool car eventually (3/4 finished, and I misplaced the damn thing).

Kurtz-Kraft and Cannon Ball made the same line of box cars. I have had and maybe still have 2 identical 40' box cars painted black and silver Blimp cars. Same car , paint, lettering and road number. Athearn released a box car with blimp paint but in different colors and number. With my black and silver cars one is labeled Kurtz- Kraft on the bottom the other is Cannon Ball.

Crap, that made me put 2 and 2 together and realize that I have a third one. By "black and silver blimp", I assume you mean the Central of Georgia car... which reminded me that I have the maroon&silver Athearn-Lionel version, and a black&silver one that I haven't seen in months, but I remember it's awfully similar to this car. The more you know...

Never mind, problem solved.

Idly flipping through the latest RMC magazine, saw an ad for "Prototype Specific Products", and remembered they're heir to Red Ball and Cannonball, among others. Went looking through their site and found that you can still get parts for the Kurtz-Kraft/Cannonball boxcar. Here, if anyone's interested:
