not my best loco,but one i acquired this week,supposedly a southern pacific lines tw-2/3 mastodon 4-8-0 locomotive converted from a tyco 12 wheeler,ken

 going to blacken the wheels and tender trucks

I like that round arc head light. They did some interesting things with that. That has a covered tender? For oil? Looks like there's a bunch of ways to configure a "mastodon" from the photos that pop up in a 'search'. Coloring those wheels should look pretty fine Ken. Post a photo when you've gone over it.

Dang, that looks pretty dang sweet. It just shows what you can do with a "cheap Tyco".
