Now for the Junk of the Week.

Recently received locomotive, a PFM brass 2-8-0 Ma & Pa. Got a lot of work to do on it, but what the heck, it's a nice project.

The chassis

The boiler.

The tender.

Misc parts.

The chassis is really stiff, the paint is really old and the motor barely turns. The detail on this loco is very
good and even the coupler lift on the tender works.

Nice! That'll be a sweet little engine when you're done.

I wholeheartedly agree with that statement, right there.

"A lot of modellers out there who go to these train shows see broken HO stuff and go, 'This is useless' when, in reality, they can still be used for modeling whether it's as a prop on your layout or a cool project to make something old new again."
