 My tweenage daughter has me watching re-runs of the "Walking Dead." This is a tribute car. Alas, they are too tall to fit under the Life Like Lighted Bridge.

I like that, actually. All it needs is some weathering and the people painted and there ya go! My COTW is an N scale Southern Pacific hopper made by Atlas.

Picked this up for $3 at a local Hobby Shop. I opened it up and found that one side of car, part of the Pepsi logo is missing...

Lloyd, I've never seen a Tyco Pepsi box car with a peeling label! Or maybe it's gone from someone's error. However, there's a few Tyco cars that have paint label peeling issues..

The cool thing about that car to me is that Carnation Milk used to have a factory in my hometown. They moved to a town named Carnation down the road from it and all that's left of the one in my hometown is the smoke stack, which is in the middle of a parking lot. Here's what it used to look like circa 1910ish;
 Here's what they've done with it last year ;
 Just thought I'd share it with you all.

Is that... Roof of the modern 50', sides of the ordinary 50' plug door? I do like it. Caught me off guard for a moment, couldn't tell what it was but I knew it was something different. Nice!

Stephen, that stack is cool and looks really bizarre sticking out of a parking lot. They should build a huge fireplace & grill into the bottom and use it for cookouts.

Thanks. I just felt like I had to do that since that was the first thing I thought when I saw the picture of that refrigerator car.

** For this week I'll stay with a Gilbert car that has some Marx Heritage. That this car is of Marx Design is easy to see. * A automatic Gilbert Hay Ejector car. Railroad- New York Central. NYC car recording number, and Gilbert catalog number 33819.
