My contribution to this week's COTW is an N scale Christmas caboose made by Micro-Trains in 1995. I know I'm a little late for posting a Christmas item but better late than never, right?

A most unique model of a Ferrocarril Pacifico baggage coach. Also bears National de Mexico markings, making me think that this reflects a N de M takeover. From the collection of El Paso Model Train Club president, Mario Almeida.

Tramp, fantastic scores, first that sweet Geep and now a Twinkie Boxcar. For me, this is pretty darn cool.

My COTW I guess could also be an AOTW... A Ambroid snow plow in New Haven paint:

A couple of Model Power streamlined Budd passenger cars in PRR livery - a diner and a lounge/observation car.
These cars have full interiors and well-detailed trucks with metal wheelsets. I have a couple more of the diners - one in Amtrak and another undecorated, that I am going to decal for the L&N.

My COTW is also possibly a mistake car, picked up at the Greenberg show 10 days ago. I looked at it closely, and don't see any removal residue, so I think it came from the factory this way. Anyway, my car -

Nice cars. This Athearn built car is delivering more Coke for the thirsty customers at this pizzeria.

Love the snowplow! My friend Dave had one of those Ambroid plows on his layout, lettered Boston and Maine I believe, and when I used to visit, it was the only car I couldn't go near. Crazy possessive of it for some reason.
