Can anyone recommend a source for good drill bits? I'd like a small drill index. I don't care about what sizes are in it, so long as there is a #55 bit included. I had been using my old cobalt bits, but they're a bit expensive and overkill for plastic and a pin vice.

Dremel sells a small set, it has a couple tiny ones, found at Lowe's and Home Depot. I've bought most of my miniature drill bit sets at Train show tool sellers, or auto parts flea markets. Any decent hobby store should sell mini drill bits, too.

Micromark specializes in this. Like a super store for micro machinist.

I got a nice set from www.riogrande.com that included size 33 thru 80 in a wood index. It's worked pretty good on the wood, plastic and light metal I've used it on.

It cost about $41.00 plus $8.00 for shipping.

Thanks y'all, I'll have to look into the ones mentioned, as I don't see a train show in my immediate future, at least not until spring.

So I checked out micromark like you guys mentioned .. that place is dangerous! ... but I bookmarked it anyways ... and I bought the 20 piece set. I just need to make my own drill index.

Thanks again y'all!
