I have barely made much of any posts this year on this forum. As well as a lot of last year. Lack of time and interest really. I'm sorta back on here time and time again. For now just to sell things. Place isn't what it used to be back when I joined and was active in 2012 and the early part of 2013.

sometimes our interests and direction changes. People come and go, topics get worn out, and there's not much new stuff happening for awhile. Same is happening to me with my Diecast forum, I'm not going there or posting as much lately. Just a lull in the interest for me I'm still full-bore ahead with trains, though I did shut down my posting for awhile earlier this year, and I've been trying to slow down my collecting habits, but as you can tell by my SOTW / Tongue in Cheek scores, I'm still at it.
Just take a break from trains for awhile, and maybe after some months away, you'll start feeling the urge again to connect. That's the thing with intense activity, you eventually reach a burn-out point, and you just don't wanna go there for awhile. That's OK ! Take a break, and come back when you feel like you're more interested again. Everyone needs that break at some point. Most people just don't realize what it is. I did, I took my train break, and now I'm back at it again. Just work your way back slowly, it's alright to NOT want to play with trains for awhile.

Good advice Jerry... I'm kind-of there myself too, but mine is with selling. I sell to pay for my kids hockey lessons and put whatever I have left toward my Mustang or trains. It has become a job!
I want to step away and just tinker for a while, but my kids and their hockey interests come first.... so I continue to sell.

Good to see you're back, SCVR. It's definitely been awhile but then again you stated in your YouTube video a while back that you wouldn't be doing updates for a while so, yes, I was expecting that.

If you make a formal return, better rent a tux.
It's pretty typical to start boxing up layouts & such at your age as college approaches, and all sorts of competing interests and obligations. It's a time of great change.
