... and a lot more settled in life. I really missed the posts of the elite Tyco hoarders, modelers & engineers here.
After years of having no Christmas tree nor a layout, I've wasted no time this year. Here's a video of my and my mother's (I have the trains, mom has everything else!) work in progress, which will likely stay long after the new year:

... and I'm even decorated for tomorrow's holiday office party and decoration contest:

Great to see another old member get back under steam! Looks like you went all out for the Christmas tree, wow, 3 lines! Nicely done! The office decoration looks smashing (er, ooops ), too. Don't drop it! I'm amazed at how many members now seem to be running trolley or street cars, didn't seem to be that many a few years ago, now I'm seeing them in the background and in running mode. Very , man! I need to get one or two of mine running for the holidays, too. Well, enjoyed your post, I'm sure you'll be making more soon, too. We'll be watching!

Looks like the wall shelf was special made for that train! Well done!

Welcome back to the forum although I don't believe I've seen you here before. Anyway, I love what you did to that Bachmann G scale loco. Looks great.

Thanks you guys!
Yes, there will be more to come as I unpack all of my engines and bring them back to life.
My MU2 powered Chattanooga jumped right into action with nothing but a lube. The trolley required a little more attention and the Rogers had never ever been run, so I spent a lot of time removing hardened grease and cleaning contact areas. She's running fine now!
Next up will be my Athearn RDCs over the holiday weekend.

Good to have you back alive and well, man! And yes, trolleys do have a foothold here now. I can't wait to see where things go with that!

Thanks! Again, it's great to be back
I've always had trollies and I used to ride the PCC trollies to school and work in Philadelphia for years. Also, back in the 80s I worked for Septa on the high voltage lines that fed the trollies and subways. I really miss it all, so the trollies hold a special place in my heart.

Welcome back! I thought the same thing, that the shelf looks custom built for the Bachmann Annie set. Nice displays.
