I believe this was an ATSF Athearn BB kit originally. I used photo research to add details that would make it look more prototypical of DM&IR bay window cabooses. I moved the battery boxes to the center of the chassis and sealed the roof holes where the roof walk was located. The ends of the roof canopy were closed off, and I used .025 brass rod to make the collision posts and the other maroon post. KD couplers and I-M metal wheels finished the job. The decals were from Microscale- way too complex for me to recreate myself. Rustoleum Sunburst Yellow and Tamiya Maroon were the colors (and Testor's Silver for the steps) used. The markers are little stick on (used CA cement) dark red jewel decor from Michael's Crafts. This was a tough one!

Nice job, man. I love the overall styling on the model. It almost looks like something a model railroad manufacturer would make. -Steve
