Has anyone got any experiences with the IHC powered carnival ride kits? I wanna build a few. Also, what's the powering kit consist of? Looks like an small slot car style motor is used. Is it AC or DC?

They should be DC that can be powered off your track like any accessory.

Motorizing kit is made to run off 12-16 VDC.

They bring decent prices on eBay, it's a wonder no one's gotten ahold of the tooling to sell them again.
