Nice boxcar, JNXT! My COTW is an H0 scale Santa Fe boxcar that I got with my Pacific that was in my LOTW last week for $30.

My car this week is a bulkhead flat car with a light load. There are no marking on the car so I think it is an AHM.

It could be Jerry but take a look at the last car in the line. A green bulkhead flat car by AHM. The tyco says Southern Railway. I have a tyco pulpwood car. I will compare the two. Thanks

I have one that I pulled the pulpwood load from and added a load of steel bars that I made. Added Athearn trucks and Kadees too This is the best picture I have, it's packed away at the moment.

tramp, yours is much cleaner then mine! This was one of my first 'weathering' attempts.

Glad you like it. One of those things I worked on so long I don't think I was ever going to like it.
The load is just stacked strips of Evergreen plastic - I forget the thickness. I painted them 'steel' metallic, then dry brushed them with 'rust'. The straps are very thin flexible strips of plastic, painted flat black.

Finally, I have the complete set of TYCO Derricks. Sadly, this and two more cars costed me $71 plus shipping, but I got the OK from the money boss before the purchase. I was hounding a forum member (Microbusss) for about two years trying to get his U.P Derriick, but he would not budge. I ma actually glade he did'nt because his was missing the boom and the stake fence. So Busss, I will sell you the DD40AX now.
