Lying around on top of some stuff, this Tyco 4301 shell will eventually join my ghost fleet for a halloween train. I have some Train Miniature rolling stock shells that are unpainted, and want to put pulsating green lights in them. Someone had stripped the paint off this shell previous to my ownership, I think it came out of my infamous club member's ginormous junkboxes, and it will become a centerpiece of the Halloween special eventually. I also have an F7 shell unpainted that will alternate with this one for ghost train duty. Looks like I won't get this project done before this halloween, either Oh well.

My junk box piece of the week is the remains of a Tyco Old Dutch hopper that I had forgotten about having. I had remembered my old Maxwell House hopper but it survived well, but I give it to my boss in the early 90s for his layout...
The pictured hopper shell is broken and chipped, but I kept it all these years...

My JOTW offering is a gaggle of Mantua Mighty Mite 0-4-0 locomotives. These are brass and diecast and date from prior to 1952. These pre-date the Switcher.

All of which need to be restored, which is the reason for their offering!

To drop a very unsubtle hint, the one in the lower left corner looks very nearly complete. Why, I'd bet that in a short while, it could qualify as a LOTW. It sure would be nice to get a bit closer look at it having a picture all to itself.
