For the April 2007 edition of the HO-Scale Trains Resource EXTRA, I did a review of the 1/87th Fresh Cherries vehicles.

Great article... nice and informative. People aren't going to believe me, but 1978 was always an ideal year for me to model, and all these cars fitting in is just even more icing on the cake.

I hadn't even looked at how these new cars were assembled yet; I just assumed they were all riveted like the others. Nice to know there's a few I won;t have to drill out. The Tempo especially needs help - it is by far the crudest model in the line (painting the rear quarter window trim helps some, but the bumpers are comically large, the grille too small and the body is too boxy. But I'm still happy to have them!)

I love what you did to LifeLike's cartoony auto carrier, too! Looks right out of a publicity shot - and Fresh Cherries isn't even pushing 'em that way. In fact, I might do exactly that to my awn lone LLAC.
