A NIB LL Gravy Train set has caught my fancy. The vendor wants $100 for it. I buy to collect, and sometimes trade; not to "flip." That being said, what is FMV for this thing? I'd like to have it, but don't feel like being taken for a rube, either. http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/NDgwWDY0MA==/$T2eC16F,!zEE9s3!(H9pBQJmn8lIcQ~~60_12.JPG

Um, the picture appears to be broken.

I haven't seen a Gravy Train sell for that much personally. I've seen a Bachmann Gravy train with more cars sell in the 60-80 range for the set. Life-Like, didin't know they did one, really. I'd say that's a bit much. I bought a Gravy Train F7 engine off Ebay a few months ago for $15.
Far as the picture link goes, it's only partly high-lighted, but if you high-light the entire thing yourself with the mouse, then plug it into the Browser, the link / picture comes up OK.
I'd pass on it for that price, you're only getting 4 items and a box. Depends on how "doggone" determined you are to own it.

| I bet I could carry that set to shows for five years and be lucky if I got $25 out of it. Super el-cheapo set, except for the Gravy Train labeling sets like that still sell for around $30-$40 new. Those sets probably turned up in grocery stores around Christmas in one chain or another, I doubt it's very rare. $100? His grandchildren will own it one day.
