Old Don put the whistle stop on me and straightened me out on my whistle placement on this General. Plus, I wanted to get a video of it running so much more quietly and smoothly than it had after my neglected lubrication was remedied. And, I wanted to see if a "shop light" would improve my video quality . . . it may have a little, but even though I might like to be a cinematographer, don't expect it to happen any time soon. Here's an amateur youtube . . .

Looks good! That was running smoothly. The General looks good in a Russia Iron boiler jacket. The combine car reminds me of an old Virginia and Truckee car that the Nevada State Railway Museum uses when they run steam trains. It's a nice old car, and pleasant to ride in. Carpe Manana!

A truly beautiful and unique layout, well filmed. I have no complaints as to the lighting. Was that the Mantua combine I swapped out to you? I wish half my power ran as gently as your General. Keep it coming!
